This morning on the way to work we had not only fog but rain as well. A double whammy of ‘cloudiness’ at once that reduced our visibility.
It reminded me of my mind sometimes. Foggy with a bit of rain and reduced visibility. Not the best of weather to have in the top six inches but one we all might have from time to time.
I have a feeling we have that forecast a lot more than we think but we don’t realise it at the time.
Robert C. Pollock said, “We get lost in a fog of abstractions and easily forget that man is a bloodhound sniffing out the real.”
Everyday things create the fog in our mind and the odd idiot, or action, creates the rain.
So my thought is that having a very clear goal for the day or week, month or lifetime, is the sun that burns that fog away. It is the energy that keeps your mind clear and the rain away.
What goal do you have that is so powerful it will keep the rain away?
