I just received this email today from Marilyn Samuelsen, the Audience Development Director, at Penton Media.
Why would I want this? There is nothing in my interests to suggest I am a doctor or into medical meetings.
Why did I get this?
There is a relationship: the email I get from Penton is Ken Magill's weekly newsletter. Not as the footer states, "You received this email because you have an existing business relationship with Medical Meetings
, a division of Penton Media."
Penton Media are starting to abuse their relationship with me by sending me irrelevant emails like this. In New Zealand it would be called Spam. In the US it's still called Spam but they would get away with it.
Marilyn please review your database. I think you have made a large mistake in sending this email to people you have no interest in medical meetings and you might find your unsubscribe rate has just gone through the roof.
