Jackie Robinson said, “I’m not concerned with your liking or disliking me… All I ask is that you respect me as a human being.”
Respect is something that I do strive to give to everyone because whether I like or dislike them they are human. And as humans we are all prone to the same failings.
One thing about respect is having the guts to front up to people when you have done something wrong or no longer need them. Instead of slinking off I find that telling someone sorry or I don’t need their services can lead to better dialog or even solve the issue I am having.
Some might call this not burning your bridges. Because you never know when you might need help from that person / business again.
