Last days to Vote Pippa

Just got this from Pippa. If you are voting in the AECT here's how …

Hi

Thank you for the amazing support I have received so far in my bid to get elected as one of 5 trustees of the Auckland Energy Consumer Trust.

There are now just 2 days left to post voting papers to make sure they are received no later than 5pm on Friday 30 October so it would be great if you can do any of the following:
1. VOTE – dig out the voting papers from the "to do" pile or the recycle bin (the envelope is addressed to the power bill holder from AECT with VOTING DOCUMENT ENCLOSED written on the front)

2. POST the voting document in the return envelope (postage paid).

Didn't receive voting documents? Then please call Independent Election Services Ltd, on 09 307 7211 or 0800 922 822 and ask for a special voting paper.

If you pay towards electricity supply in Auckland, Manukau, Papakura or on Waiheke Island but are not the named person on the power bill ASK the power bill holder to VOTE on your behalf (for example this might be your landlord, a flatmate, parent, property manager, body corporate or business partner).

3. FORWARD on this message to your networks even if you can't vote yourself (your friends, whanau, work colleagues, club contacts etc might all appreciate a final reminder about the election and the option to vote for an independent candidate with a community and sustainability focus).

Or if you prefer add a link on facebook to my website www.pippacoom.co.nz and send the reminder to your friends that way.  I am also on twitter.com/pippacoom.

4. CANVAS your friends and neighbours to vote (or anyone you get a chance to talk to over the next couple of days) – the personal touch is bound to have the biggest impact!
Every vote counts so your help in getting the message out there to vote before the election ends is hugely appreciated.

Regards

Pippa
