Sign up to the new virgin.com

Virgin.com has had a bit of a nip and a tuck and has come over all social network-like.

In order to carry on hearing about the latest news and stuff from Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, you just need to sign up to the new site.

That way you’ll be the first to hear about the latest moves and shakes from Virgin, also:

– you get to ask Richard Branson questions
– earn points towards awesome Virgin goodies
– get great deals and offers from Virgin companies
– rate articles and have your say
– connect your Facebook and virgin.com accounts

What are you waiting for? Hook up to the new global community on virgin.com now!

(If you really don’t want to and there’s just no persuading you, then simply ignore this email. But we’ll miss you – come back and see us sometime soon, we’d hate for you to miss out on some lovely and exciting stuff we’ve got planned…)

My comment. Why? Why do I have to sign up again? This is a great way for Virgin to lose a whole heap of their subscribers. It reminds me of September 2007 when the Anti-Spam Act came out. How hard is it to move a database that has already given you (Virgin) permission to say hi.

Am I missing something? Let me know.
