Someone once said, “Do not regret growing older. It is a privilege denied to many.”
Today the relegating of older people to the retirement village isn’t as prolific as it used to be. That’s because upstarts have realised the experience of someone who’s, been there done that, will almost always outweigh a hungry youngster.
We need the hungry youngster but they need guidance and sounding boards to keep them on track. So if you’re sitting around feeling a bit sorry for yourself because you hit 30,40,50, 60, etc, find a hungry youngster, offer them guidance, and help them make sure they get to grow old too.
